You can generate the same flash patterns with your own LED's using a flasher module found here The base is constructed from extruded Aluminium, the dome is made from UV resistant Lexan (the same material is used in bullet proof glass!) A 3.6m lead (12 feet) is supplied terminated in a fused cigar plug containing an on/off switch and a mode switch to select any of the seven flash patterns listed above. The unit is 12 Volt DC only with a max current draw of 4.2 Amps (compared with 7 amps for a SINGLE halogen rotating beacon) With a height of 57 mm (82 mm inc magnets) combined with 165 kg (360lbs) of magnetic pull gives this lightbar very good high speed stability, minimal wind noise and little effect on fuel consumption. Overall dimensions are 440 x 230 x 82 mm.
