The LED (Light Emitting Diode) is the first major revolution in lighting since the invention of the incandescent bulb over 120 years ago when the transport was horse and buggy, and the technology is still basically the same as when it was first invented, incredible that we are still using this outdated type of technology for our light source.

LEDs are being used in large indicator applications ranging from vehicle brake lights, to outdoor signs. In these applications, and numerous others, An LED array can deliver unmatched long term reliability, outstanding brightness, low power consumption, shock and vibration resistance with no maintenance required.
To increase safety, LEDs light up faster than incandescent globes, this reduces response reaction times, giving earlier warning which leads to quicker braking.
LEDs are solid state devices requiring little power and generating little heat. Because their heat generation is low and because they do not rely on material to generate light, LEDs have long operating lifetimes.
With a lifespan of up to 100,000 hours or 11 years continuous use
There is no glass or filament to break making them completely resistant to shock and vibration.
