Model 8450 Marine spec 12 Volt HID lamp - Spot pattern

Marine spec HID model 8450 lamp has an impact resistant Nylon housing and a glass lens, supplied with stainless steel hardware and available with three different beam configurations

• Flood - Close quarter illumination such as deck area
• Trapezoid - Medium range such as illuminating the confines of a marina (depending on height & location)
• Spot - For long range and or specific target illumination

HID (High Intensity Discharge - some times incorrectly referred to as Xenon) lamps are more expensive to initially purchase than their halogen equivalents but the advantages are huge and the overall cost of ownership very similar and in a number of cases LESS than that of halogen.

• HID gives around 4 - 5 times the light out put of Halogen

• HID gives close to daylight colour light

• HID will outlast Halogen by at least 10 times
