Carling are an American manufacturer of switches so as standard make the switch so the top is pushed down (rocker pushed up) in order to activate. This is the opposite of how switches are configured in the UK and Europe so Mobile Centre have had custom switches made that operate the "correct" way for Europe.

This switch has an amber function led and green legend illumination LED both of which are controlled independently - this means they have their own set of terminals so can be configured independently of the actual switch.

The switch two sets of switching terminals (DPDT) allowing two sperate devices to be switched by one single action.

Centre set of terminals are input with two corresponding sets for out depending on switch position.
