Handmade here in the UK using premium quality components, this is in essence an Anderson version of our 5M crocodile to crocodile kit.

The kit consists of two parts

• 5M of black and red 35mm2 fitted with our 600A fully insulated crocodile clips at one end and an Anderson SB175 connector with handle at the other end for easy connection and disconnection.
• 1M of black and red 35mm2 fitted with our M8 ring terminals at one end and an Anderson SB175 connector the other end to mate with the 5M cable set.

All terminals are covered in colour coded heat shrink to help protect the integrity and longevity of the cables and offering additional insulation.

Why are they so expensive? The answer is in three parts:

1. We manufacturer in the UK and use the best quality parts, for example the cable is manufactured here in the UK. We source our crocodile clips from Europe where they manufacture them in house.
2. We use 35mm2 cable on our leads where most others use 25mm2 or even 16mm2 allowing our leads to handle much larger currents and make them suitable for almost any engine size petrol or diesel. The cable used is fully copper cable, not copper coated aluminium cable that most leads from the far east are made from.
3. The cable is cut and stripped using a state of the art fully automated machine from Schleuniger to ensure accuracy and consistency each and every time, moving onto the crimping process again we use an electrically power crimp tool that is regularly calibrated which one again ensure accuracy consistency giving the best possible result each time. Quick fact the connector manufacturer Anderson Power states that each terminal should be crimped TWICE for SB175 connectors.
