This set consists of:

• 1x 12V MagCode PowerClip to Victron charger adaptor Victron part BPC900500014
• 1x 12V MagCode Power Port Socket Victron Part BPC900520014
• 1x MagCode Power Port Cover
• 1x 12V power lead

This set is compatible with Victron's Blue Smart IP65 charger range (Rated at 15A max)

MagCode Power System is a revolutionary magnetic connector system for 12 V and 24 V DC applications

The Power Port (socket) and Power Clip (plug) both contain magnets and within the port is a movable plate that when “attracted” by the clip allows current to pass. This system is uniquely keyed so there cannot be a miss mating between 12 and 24V which also makes the system short circuit proof. Once the clip is removed the port is de-energised so even if the contacts are shorted out by a metal object nothing will happen. Thus the MagCode PowerSystem is 100% short-circuit-proof.

Applications

The MagCode Power Systems already used in several OEM's are ideal for passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, campers and boats where cigarette lighter receptacles are presently in use for exterior connectors on vehicles, under conditions of sustained charging and high current load.

The supplied power lead is 1.5M total length and is made with 1.5mm² cable (rated at 21A). One end of the cable is fitted with 6.3mm fully insulated Female Spade Terminals for connection to the Magcode Powerport Socket. The other end is terminated with M6 (1/4") brass rings for connection to your battery. This cable is supplied fitted with a 20mm 5A fuse, however this could be exchanged for a fuse of up to 10A (alternative fuses not supplied)

The Magcode powerclip / Victron charger assembly is approximately 400mm total length, with approximately 250mm of cable
